what others say about casa grend
Just absolutely wow! I shared an amazing ten days with Liz and another volunteer. The 2-3 hours a day of easy household maintenance and projects was a great way to keep busy and enjoy the wonderful hospitality Liz offered. I highly recommend for anyone to get involved and enjoy what Fykse and their community has to offer. I will definitely be back!!

Stayed in Casa Grend during autumn, and what a wonderful way to let the soul drop a gear. Fykse is a quiet and small village with not much to it, but the people, animals and surroundings are outstanding! Beautiful hikes and great fishing in the area. The building is made in typical old norwegian style with multiple cozy wood stoves and big windows. All in all a fantastic experience!

Charming old community house rearranged by a crazy hostess to be unique, wonderful, spectacular and very cozy accommodation, all at once. Amazing surroundings, apple garden, old stone fences, steep hills that get your heart working and then the reward that waits for you: Magnificent view of mountains and fjords, as you see it on postcards. Zen.
